Treo 650 is a Bluetooth Qualified product. This means that the Treo 650 has passed the Bluetooth Special Interest Group's test plan, performed by an independent Bluetooth Qualification Board.

Because the Treo 650 passed these tests, it will most likely work with other Bluetooth Qualified products. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every Bluetooth product on the market. Palm will continue to test Treo 650 with other products as they become available. Please come back to this page to see the updated compatibility list, and to download the latest patches for more devices.

The following Bluetooth devices were tested and determined compatible in accordance with Palm’s Bluetooth® wireless technology testing standards. Note that manufacturer changes to the specifications of the tested devices may alter compatibility and/or functionality. Please check with your Bluetooth device manufacturer for updates or further information.

Questions & Answers
Q: What should I know about Bluetooth headsets before buying one? A: The available features and audio quality can vary between different types of headsets. Check the documentation that came with the headset to learn more about the specific Bluetooth wireless features it offers.

Some Bluetooth wireless headsets may support the Headset Profile only, as opposed to the Handsfree Profile. Headset and Handsfree are two types of Bluetooth profiles that describe what the accessory is capable of doing wirelessly. The Handsfree Profile offers more features than the Headset profile. Check with the accessory's manufacturer for more information on the Bluetooth profiles it supports, and to see if there are any upgrade patches available for the headset.

Q: What should I know about using a Bluetooth wireless printer? A: The Canon i80 printer works with your Treo smartphone out of the box; no extra software is needed. The Canon i80 can print the following items from your smartphone:
  • Photos
  • Schedule
  • Business cards
  • Tasks
  • Memos

Other printers may require specific drivers and third-party software to work with your Treo smartphone. Check the Software Connection for third-party software that may allow you to use additional printers.
