What is this software?

The Palm Music Assistant gives you an easy way to move music files you bought from the Amazon MP3 app on your phone into your iTunes library on your computer. You can do the transfer yourself using the USB Drive on your phone but the Palm Music Assistant automates the process for you.

How To Use The Palm Music Assistant

  1. After downloading and installing the Palm Music Assistant (PMA).
  2. Open Palm Music Assistant. This can be found in the Palm programs folder on your computer. For example, to open Palm Music Assistant in Windows XP, select Start > All Programs > Palm > Palm Music Assistant.
  3. Connect your phone to your computer and tap Media Sync
  4. .
  5. In Palm Music Assistant, click Continue.
  6. (Optional) Select ‘Automatically import music to my desktop music application when I connect my phone’. If you select this, every time you connect your phone to your computer and tap Media Sync on your phone, Palm Music Assistant will transfer any newly purchased songs to your iTunes music library automatically.
  7. Click Import.
  8. To make sure files are transferred back to your phone after using Palm Music Assistant confirm the 'Amazon Music Purchases' playlist is set to synchronize to your phone in iTunes.
